Curriculum
Second-year PhD Student in Artificial Intelligence for Society at the University of Bari in co-affiliation with the University of Pisa. He is a member of the Information Visualization and Usability (IVU) Laboratory under the supervision of Full Professor Rosa Lanzilotti and Associate Professor Antonio Piccinno. His main interests are Human-Computer Interaction and its relationship with Artificial Intelligence, along with with the ramifications in Software Engineering and Cybersecurity.
His research revolves around the design of Symbiotic AI, a subset of Human-Centered AI, with the objective of delineating methodologies, techniques, and design patterns that can support designers and developers in the creation of such systems.
From September 2022 to May 2023, he worked as a scholarship researcher at the University of Bari, contributing to the ISO 25000-certified project eGLU-Box PA.
He obtained with full marks and honors, this Master’s Degree course, entirely provided in English, focused on Security Engineering. The final thesis concerned the creation of a serious game for cybersecurity following the human-centered approach of the ISO 9241:210. This serious game has the objective of offering a customizable cybersecurity course to individuals who are not familiar with the topic.
In 2021, he completed his Bachelor’s Degree and the final thesis revolved around the design and development of a Internet of Things (IoT) environment to support physicians and patients who suffer from speech therapy and usability evaluation of the underlying web-application.
He is a member of:
- ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (ACM SIGCHI) since March 2024.
- Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) since December 2023
- IFIP Working Group 13.11/12.14 – Human-Centered Intelligent Systems (HCISS) since September 2023.
- Italian Research Staff Association (ItalianRSA) since November 2022
