Celebrating IVU Involvement in the University’s Ethical Review Board

We are excited to announce the official presentation of the Ethical Review Board at our University, a major milestone that highlights the institution’s commitment to upholding ethical standards in research. This board will play a crucial role in overseeing research practices and ensuring that projects align with the principles of integrity, transparency, and respect for all participants involved.

Our research group takes particular pride in the fact that two of our members were closely involved in this important development. Prof. Maria Francesca Costabile, who serves as the president of the university committee responsible for drafting the ethical board regulations, played a key role in shaping the guidelines that will govern research activities. Her leadership has been instrumental in ensuring that the framework reflects the values of fairness and responsibility, while also supporting innovative academic work.

Prof. Rosa Lanzilotti, another valued member of our group, is part of the Ethical Review Board itself. As a member of the board, she will be actively involved in evaluating research proposals and ensuring that they meet the ethical criteria established by the university. Her involvement guarantees that the board will be a strong advocate for ethical research practices moving forward.

We are proud of their contributions and are confident that the work of the Ethical Review Board will enhance the quality and integrity of research across the university. This is a significant step for our institution, and we are eager to see the positive changes it will bring to the research community.
